1. Who We Are

McRitchie Industries LLC ("McRitchie Industries", "we", "us") is a holding company in Denver, Colorado. We operate this website, www.mcritchie.industries (the "Site"). Our address is 3000 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80205.

This policy explains what information the Site collects, how we use it, and who else receives it.

2. Information We Collect

When you browse: You can read the public pages without an account. They have no contact form, and we run no analytics or advertising trackers on them. Like any website, the servers that deliver the Site record each request in their logs: your IP address, the page requested and the time.

When you ask for a sign-in link: The Site has no passwords. If you enter your email address on the sign-in page, we store that address with the single-use link we email to you, and we keep a record that the email was sent.

When you hold an account: Using a sign-in link creates an account or signs you in to the one you have. We store your email address, your name if you give one, your account role, and any profile details you choose to add, such as a first name or a photo.

When you book a call: The booking calendar belongs to Google. What you enter in it goes to Google, not to the Site (see section 5).

When something breaks: If the Site hits an error, it saves a technical record of it (the error message and where in the code it happened), which can refer to the account involved.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• email you the sign-in link you asked for;
• keep you signed in and show you the pages your account may see;
• hold the calls you book with us;
• keep the Site running, find faults and protect it from misuse;
• meet legal obligations.

4. Who We Share It With

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the companies that run parts of the Site for us, and only so they can do that work:

• Heroku hosts the Site and its database.
• Resend delivers our email, so it receives your email address and the message we send you.
• Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services store uploaded files, such as a profile photo.
• Google provides the booking calendar (section 5).
• OpenStreetMap provides the map images in the footer (section 5).

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of McRitchie Industries or others.

5. The Booking Calendar and the Map

Booking calendar: The home page, the Schedule a call page and the "Schedule a call" window each embed a Google Calendar appointment schedule. Your browser loads it directly from Google. The details you enter to book a call are sent to Google and handled under Google's privacy policy; the booking then appears on our calendar.

Map: The map in the footer draws its images from OpenStreetMap. Your browser requests them directly from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address when it does, under the OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy.

6. Cookies

The Site sets one first-party session cookie. It keeps you signed in and protects the Site's forms. We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Your choice of light or dark theme is saved in your browser's own storage and is not sent to us.

The embedded Google booking calendar may set cookies of its own.

7. How Long We Keep It

We keep account information for as long as the account exists, or until you ask us to delete it. A sign-in link works once and expires soon after it is sent.

8. Security

The Site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Sign-in uses single-use links sent to your email address rather than passwords, and the pages for account holders and for our staff require sign-in.

9. Your Choices

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Email team@mcritchie.industries from the address the request concerns.

You can browse the public pages without an account, and you can block or clear the session cookie in your browser; signing in needs it.

10. Children

The Site is written for business owners and their advisers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
